Louise Kazemi Specialist Pelvic Health Physiotherapist

Louise Kazemi qualified as a Physiotherapist in 2012 with a BSc Physiotherapy (Hons) Degree and has worked in both the NHS and Private practice over the last 12 years. She specialised in Pelvic Health Physiotherapy 9 years ago and took on the role of Pelvic Health team lead at University Hospitals Dorset (UHD) in 2021. She is registered with the Health Care Professionals Council. A member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy and Pelvic Obstetric and Gynaecological Physiotherapists Society. Louise attends regular Multi-Disciplinary Team meetings at UHD where a complex patient caseload is discussed for urogynaecology and colorectal pelvic floor patients. Louise is also an independent prescriber.

Pelvic health is an area Louise is passionate about and committed to improving care and quality of life for both men and women of all ages. She addresses taboo and sensitive topics openly in a safe space and advocates for individuals to seek support for any concerns, including those that may be embarrassing or uncomfortable to discuss. Her ultimate aim being to make a positive difference to their lives and help her patients return to the life they love.
